We worked with a group of teachers, for English Pamela Hashimoto, CCTE Joe Paulson, Science Elizabeth Benkendorff, Social studies Krista Heyenga, Reasorce specialist Adrienne Fay.
The amazing leader of our group is Kylee. She filmed the video, and even created this website. She also plays the mom’s voice in our script, let’s just say she is a multi-tasker. She had written about “Saving Water Indoors.” Our voice-over and background voice in the skit is Avery; she also is helpful with editing and acting. Avery was a good member of the group as well as everyone else, she also encourages people to do what they do. She also wrote about “All About Us.” Our editor and actor Peyton, she was a huge help for editing and she also helped with background music, she is very helpful and is very friendly and kind. She wrote about “Saving Water Outdoors.” Carlo is one of our filmmakers and got images for our film, he is super enthusiastic and loves to help out, he does not procrastinate at all and always gets his work done. Carlo wrote about what is mega-drought/climate change. He is confident in himself and others. Our halftime music editor Kyan was very helpful with the happy music in the background as well helping with the script, he is eager to help and get things done. He worked very hard on the kids page and the pre post survey. Kalista helped get images for the voice-over and the art, she was also a help with filming and was focused herself and helped focus others, she is writing for fun activities on our website. In all, she is very kind, peaceful, and nice. |

Our scientists
Through San Diego Coast Keeper a top oceanographer was provided. Alex Hangsterfer is an oceanography scientist at the Scrips Institution of Oceanography. Alex works with cores and climate change, over the years she has studied cores and researches how climate change was years before and how it is now by looking at the cores. She was a huge help in our study, she answered every single question we asked and really was interested in listening to what we said.
Delanie Medina works with San Diego Coast keepers. San Diego Coast Keeper is an environmental non-profit organization that helps keep San Diego's waters clean. She helped us realize almost everything we needed to know about drought and is super kind and nice. She is also very intelligent and she has been helping us a lot. |
